Old Hough Coarse Fishery is a complex with over ten pools and over 200 pegs. It is located in Warmingham, Cheshire, and offers a wide variety of fishing challenges to match anglers and pleasure anglers.
The canal that makes up Upper Benbo is quite long and has 12 evenly spaced pegs running along each side. It is 14 meters wide, has a shelf one meter deep all the way around the island and the perimeter, and a channel two meters deep in the middle.
The width of Lower Benbo is 15 meters, which is the only distinguishing feature between it and its more prominent counterpart, Upper Benbo.
Upper Benbo and Lucky Dip share a similar outline and profile, but Lucky Dip has eight pegs running along each side.
Prospect is similar to Lucky Dip, but with 16 pegs.
Moses, which has eight pegs, is a small horseshoe-shaped pool with a shelf measuring one meter along each side, along the middle finger, and across the ‘aerator’ end, and a depth that measures two meters in the center.
There are 12 pegs in Woody End. The central area of The End can be up to three meters deep, while the perimeter shelf is only one meter deep. It is ideal for the pleasure angler.
Goose has 18 pegs and is 12 meters wide with a shelf 1 meter deep around the island and the perimeter. The central channel is 1.7 meters deep.
The width of the Boulders is 13 meters, it has a shelf that is 1 meter deep around the island and the perimeter, and it has a channel that is 1.7 meters deep in the center.
West Sooty is a two-acre pool with a sunken island in the middle. There are 25 pegs available. It is encircled by water that is deeper in some places ad shallower in others places.
Big Max is a match pool that spans 2.1 acres and has 33 pegs. It also features a central island.

Upper Benbo has a good head of Carp to 12lb, F1’s to 4lb, Tench & Golden Tench to 3lb , Crucian Carp, Bream to 5lb, Ide to 3lb, Perch to 3lb, Barbel to 4lb, Chub to 3lb and Grass Carp to 4lb.
Lower Benbo has Carp to 10lb, F1’s to 4lb, Tench to 2lb, Bream to 5lb, Roach to 1lb, Chub to 3lb, Barbel to 4lb, Ide to 3lb, Crucians, Perch to 2lb and Grass Carp to 2lb.
Lucky Dip is stocked with Bream, Tench to 3lb, Carp to 9lb, F1’s to 3lb, Barbel to 3lb, Crucians, Roach, Perch Grass Carp, and Chub to 3lb.
Prospect has Carp to 9lb, F1’s to 23b, Crucians, Tench, Perch to 2lb, Chub to 3lb, Barbel to 3lb, Roach to 1lb, Bream to 2lb.
Moses Stocked with Carp to 5lb, F1’s, Tench, Bream, Crucian Carp, Perch, Roach, and Barbel to 2lb.
Woody End has Carp to 6lb, Crucians, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Perch, and Chub to 2lb.
Goose Stocked with Carp to 8lb, Bream, Barbel to 3lb, Chub to 3lb, F1’s to 2lb, Crucians, Roach and Tench to 2lb.
Boulders has Common and Mirror Carp to 10lb, Bream, Barbel to 3lb, Chub to 3lb, F1’s to 4lb, Crucians, Roach and Tench to 2lb.
West Sooty has Carp up to 25 lb, Catfish to 44lb and Horace, a 20lb Grass Carp
Big Max is stocked with F1’s to 5lb, Carp to 10lb, Roach to 1lb, Bream to 5lb and Tench to 2lb.
