Thornhills is a big pool, featuring a sizable island located at one end, and two smaller islands at the opposite end. The Bay Malton Angling Club is in charge of maintaining this water, which is situated adjacent to a protected area in Goostrey, Cheshire.
The depth of the water ranges from four to eleven feet. Carp, Bream, Tench, and Barbel are among the fish species that have been spotted in this pool. Because of the water table, the water levels in this body of water tend to decline over the summer months. Fishing is from dawn until dusk, and no night fishing allowed.

What tactics work well?
Pole, waggler, float fishing with barbless hooks only. Braided lines are prohibited.
