Thriplow Pit, leased and operated by Royston and District Angling Club, is a popular fishing destination for anglers of all skill levels and ages. It is situated on Church Street in Thriplow in the county of Cambridgeshire.
A large number of fish species reside in the water. Ghost, Crucian, Mirror, and Common Carp up to 30lb are all available. Other species present in the pit include Perch to 5 pounds and excellent heads of Roach, Rudd, Tench, Chub, Bream, Barbel, and Ide. The lake is replenished with a new stock of fish on a regular basis.
