Popular with carp anglers, Tilgate Park Lake has depths of up to 15 feet or even more. In addition to carp, it also holds bream and tench. This water is managed by the Tilgate Park Fisheries.

What tactics work well?
The best pegs are from the boat house on the west bank to about 1/2 way along the north wall. There is a shelf off the north wall for about 10 feet then drops to main lake depth. Avoid the area near the overflow as it is known to be a poor fishing spot.
