Fishery Information
Tingrith Lakes is owned and managed by Vauxhall Angling Club and is a very well looked after venue. It can be found just outside of Tingrith a few miles from Toddington and not far from the M1. Therefore, accessing this fishery is easy.
In total there are 3 lakes at this complex.
Manor Lake
This holds carp of up to about 13lb and there’s also some really nice roach, rudd and crucians to be caught.
Overall, it’s a really shallow fishery being only 18 inches deep at some points, down to about 3ft at its deepest near the dam. As well as stocked carp there’s also plenty of wild carp which you don’t find at a lot of venues nowadays. A lot of work has been done on this lake over the years, including the removal of lily pads and improving the access with new paths and platforms.
Woodlands Lake
A much deeper lake at 12 feet. There are some good carp to be caught in here as well as some specimen crucian carp that have reached up to 2lb.
There is great silver fishing to be had here in winter because it’s so deep. The lake was recently stocked with 700 tench and over 600 carp.
The Mere
This has the biggest carp out of all 3 lakes and they go up to 19lb in here. Its a lake where you can expect to catch a fish-a-chuck in the summer. Is a good lake to bring kids, or those that are new to fishing.
