Fishery Information
Situated in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, Toft Trout Fishery is a stunning facility that offers excellent fishing to anglers of all abilities. The water spans approximately 40 acres and hosts various fishing features.
The setting are surrounded by woodland which add to the serene atmosphere as well as housing numerous wildlife species. Moreover, there are many spacious swims, several of which are accessible to the disabled angler. Additionally, boats are available for hire including a wheely boat.
The Fishery was once known as the best Trout Fishery in Lincolnshire. However, the waters now house a variety of species including Bream, Tench, Perch, Carp and Pike. Day tickets are on offer and Syndicate membership starts at £750.
What size do the fish go to?
Tench, Bream and Perch generally weigh between 2 and 7lbs. Moreover, Carp and Pike are frequently landed in double figures, with the largest specimen exceeding 30lbs.
What tactics work well?
Standard still water methods are effective. Additionally, utilising pellets and boilies during the warmer months is beneficial. Prawns, worms and sweetcorn are all popular choices of bait.
What facilities are on site?
Lessons from resident experts are available for beginners. Also, boats can be hired on site, including wheely boats for disabled users. Furthermore, there are clean and accessible toilet facilities on location.
