Fishery Information
The Toome Canal is a popular coarse fishery that stretches for 0.8km. Pike, perch, roach, bream, and eels are abundant in this waterway. Fishing is allowed year-round and all lawful methods including ground bait and maggots for coarse fish are permitted. The daily bag limit is one pike per person/four coarse fish per day. There is a size limit for pike of 4kg and over, and for coarse fish longer than 25cm that must be returned to the water. Fishing from boats is not allowed.
