Fishery Information
Situated in a stunning countryside setting near Littleborough, Lancashire, Townhouse Fishery offers an excellent day’s sport to both the beginner and more seasoned angler. The site is open all year, and boasts a healthy stock of Perch, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Bream, Barbel and Carp. There are a total of 24 platforms, all of which over a range of fishing features. Several of the platforms have been designed specifically with the disabled and elderly angler in mind.
Management ask that visitors take special care not to litter, as the venue is home to an array of different wildlife. Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed on the site and night fishing is strictly prohibited.
What size do the fish go to?
Perch, Roach, Rudd and Tench tend to weigh between 2-7lbs. Barbel are caught with frequency in the range of 10-12lbs. Larger fish species often come in well into double figures, with larger Pike and Carp exceeding 20lbs.
What tactics work well?
Using a feeder with sweetcorn, maggots or worms tends to work well for enticing the larger Carp. During warmer periods, anglers may also want to consider utilising pellets and boilies.

Clean and accessible toilet facilities are available on location.
