Trent View Fishery is a specimen carp fishery that spans ha of land situated on an ancient gravel mine between Nottingham and Newark. It is home to 2,000 carp carefully selected for their exceptional size and quality.
It provides convenient access to 46 different swims and day passes available on the bank between Monday and Friday. Carp anglers of all skill levels can fish at Trent View, where the on-site bailiff team will explain the most recent techniques and do their best to help you choose your peg.
What size do the fish go to?
There are approximately 800 carp weighing 20 pounds or more, as well as 35 carp weighing 30 pounds or more, including a lake record of 45lb 8oz.
What tactics work well?
Any bait of sufficient quality will do, and during the warmer months, the fish are particularly responsive to beds of pellet or particle. If the conditions are favorable, zigs can produce fruitful results. It is important to keep in mind that numerous fish can be caught within only a few rod lengths of the margins. During the warm summer months, the bay’s shallow waters produce an abundance of floating baits.
