Fishery Information
Trevella Holiday Park, located in Newquay, offers a wonderful selection of amenities, fun days out, and special events that are suitable for the entire family. One of the activities that you may enjoy when visiting the park is fishing. The park features two lakes that are suitable for coarse fishing and include a diverse supply of fish species.
Trevella Lake is the more mature of the two lakes, with many swims. The water is over 16 feet deep in some areas. Carp, tench, bream, roach, and rudd are in great numbers in this lake. Carp come in a number of different varieties, including mirror, common, linear, and ghost, in addition to a healthy head of crucian carp.
The other lake is the Springfield Lake, which has developed into a beautiful specimen lake over the past 19 years. It has around 150 carp of decent size, some of which weigh more than 24 pounds and several of which are in their late teens.
The park also has a resident fishing warden who provides useful advice to all visiting anglers. Fishing is open daily from dawn to dusk and children under 15 years can only fish if accompanied by an adult.
