Fishery Information
Located in Higher Whitely, Warrington, Village pool is a quaint fishery containing a healthy stock of Carp, Roach, Crucian, Bream and Perch.
The site is open to members only, with membership starting from only £35 and junior and senior members paying a fee of £28.
Village pool offers a prime location for both the novice and more seasoned angler.
What size do the fish go to?
The average size of Carp ranges between 15 lbs and 25 lbs. However, the occasional 30 lbs has also been reported. Furthermore, nets of Bream and Tench are also commonly taken in at over 80lbs.
What tactics work well?
Using a feeder with sweetcorn or worms is an efficient technique for enticing Bream and Carp. Moreover, utilising pellets and boilies during the warmer months has also led to extremely successful results.
