Wansford Fisheries, located in the Yorkshire Wolds near the market town of Driffield, is a popular destination for carp, and trout fishermen. Each lake has a healthy population of prime-condition fish, and both are kept in excellent condition.
The Course Pond has Carp, Perch, Tench, Roach, Rudd, and Chub, all of which are in abundance. Other species include Rainbow and Brown Trout, as well as a variety of Grayling.
The lake is also Trout Master Water, and with a full sporting day ticket costing only £10, it is an economical alternative for any fly-fishing enthusiast.
