Located in the beautiful Cumbria countryside, Watendlath Fishing is a 7-acre trout fishery that is known for its stock for brown, blue and rainbow trout. This fishery is open all year round.
Tickets can be purchased from Tysons Café 7 days a week. Boats can be rented on site.

What tactics work well?
Fishing follows the regular pattern for upland waters with a slow early season start followed by great sport in late April through June as the seasonal hatches and falls of terrestrial take the turn. Surface sport to Black Gnat, Hawthorns and Beetles can be particularly good on the right day. Autumn can give some of the best fishing of the year.
