Fishery Information

The rural getaway known as Waterloo Farm Leisure can be found tucked away in the heart of England on the boundary between the counties of Northamptonshire and Leicestershire. The landscape is characterized by gentle rolling hills.

Having opened their doors in 2006 and continuing to be owned by a single family, the proprietors take great satisfaction in providing the best possible levels of care to each one of their guests. Waterloo is made up of three lakes, each built for a different purpose. Waterloo, Wellington, and Junior Lakes are the names of the bodies of water.

The original fishing lake, Waterloo, has 35 pegs that are evenly spaced out and is open for bookings from both recreational anglers and club fishing matches. This beautiful lake is home to a number of fish species, such as carp weighing over 25 pounds, mirror, common, and crucian carp, in addition to tench, chub, and barbel.

Junior is a smaller lake with 12 pegs that was developed specifically for juniors and novices aged 8 and above. Junior offers the ideal atmosphere in which to learn how to fish with the assistance of knowledgeable instructors.

Before it became a private lake, open only to visitors in 2013, Wellington Lake served as a venue for organized fishing competitions.

Those who want to come, stay, and enjoy a fishing vacation will find that this location is ideal because it offers 15 extra-large caravan spots that are just near to the water’s edge.
