Waveney Valley Lakes can be found on the border of Suffolk and Norfolk in the Waveney Valley. It really is a wildlife hotspot where you can escape from the hustle and bustle of every day.
Overall there are 25 acres of lakes that is surrounded by 8 acres of mature woodland. Don’t be surprised if you see kingfishers, barn owls and other wildlife when you are fishing.
As well as day ticket fishing the park is home to a lot of retired or semi retired couples who are seeking a rural escape.
In total there are 12 fishing lakes on the complex so theres something to suit everyone. We won’t list them all here as 9 are for the full time residents with the other 3 being open to day tickets.
What size do the fish go to?
There are carp to 32lb
What tactics work well?
Maggots, corn and luncheon meat work well on most of these lakes with boilies being a good bait to target the larger carp.
What facilities are on site?
Toilets and a shop are on site.
Is parking available?
Yes, there is plenty of parking.
