Also known as Stathe Drain, the West Sedgemoor Drain is situated on the Somerset Levels and is a site of special scientific interest. It is home to carp up to over 30 lbs. and pike to 20 lbs.. There is also an impressive stock of perch that weigh up to 4 lbs. Other species present in this water include roach, tench and bream. There are 3 wooden platform swims available at the pumping station, all of which are within easy access from the car park.

Carp go up to over 30 lbs., pike to 20 lbs. and perch to 4 lbs..
What tactics work well?
Light lure setup works well for catching perch. Caster and hemp work well for catching roach. Bream and tench can be caught on the pole or using a waggler over chopped worm and corn.
