Fishery Information
Situated just 7 miles from the historic and picturesque city of York, Westerly Lake Fishing and Caravan Park is a small family run, adults only touring caravan park that provide a relaxing holiday location within an exquisite lakeside setting with coarse fishing. This venue is home to an abundance of wildlife and is within walking distance of the village pub and shop.
Open all year round, Westerly Lake is a spring-fed natural looking water designed by the National Rivers Authority. It is home to roach, bream, tench, gudgeon, crucian carp, perch, chub to over 6 lbs, mirror and common carp to 27 lbs and grass carp to 22.5 lbs.
An unhooking mat and a large landing net are required when fishing for carp. Fishing is allowed from 7am until sunset. Day tickets are available from the Lodge and must be purchased before fishing. Concessions are available for caravan residents. This water isn’t available for match bookings. For insurance reasons, the minimum age on the property is 16.
This fishing venue boasts hard standing pitches, with grass for the awning area and electric hook up.
Please note that they no longer take bookings with dogs.
