Weston Lawns Fishery Information
Established in 1994, Weston Lawns provides friendly and efficient fishing for both the beginner and the more seasoned angler.
The fishery is located just to the north of Coventry and comprises of three lakes in total.
Pool 1 is located furthest from the on-site parking and offers two and a half acres of optimal fishing for the keen carp angler.
Pool 2 is located nearest to the main car park and presents a popular 2-acre mixed fishery. The pool runs at around 5ft deep on average and primarily delivers Roach, Bream, Tench and Carp.
Pool 3 is around ¾ of an acre and offers a similar variety of fish species and sizes.
What size do the fish go to?
The site is known for a healthy stock of Commons and Mirrors averaging over 36 lbs, as well as Ghost Carp at around 23 lbs. Catfish have been caught up to 40lbs and the average range of fish comes in between 25 lbs and 30 lbs.
What tactics work well?
The majority of catfish are caught using legered luncheon meat. Using the feeder with sweetcorn or worms often yields good results for Bream and Carp. In the warmer months, anglers have also found that using pellets and boilies has proven to be particularly effective for Carp.
What facilities are on site?
Clean and comfortable accommodation, a bar and restaurant, as well as shower facilities are offered on site.
