Fishery Information

Willow Park Fishery is a lovely 22-acre facility with four lakes, including one stock pond, and lots of facilities.

The Big Lake at Willow Park is well-appointed at 10 acres, with plenty of potential for action. The spot features 30 swims, many of which are doubles. There are about 400 carp in these waters.

The Middle Lake is two acres in size, with depths ranging about four to five feet. There are 27 platforms on this lake, including some double pegs exclusively designed for family fishing. Middle Lake packs in lots of bream, tench, roach, and perch. Club bookings are available.

Small Lake is one and a half acres in size and has 30 pegs. This is noted as a match booking or pleasure fishing lake, with depths of four to five feet. Carp, tench, crucian, bream, roach, and perch pack this water.

The stock pond is great fishing for younger anglers. It’s just 0.6 acres in size and close to most of the amenities.

What size do the fish go to?

The Big Lake has carp over 30 pounds and a few wonders in the water, including one 26-pounder known affectionately as “the Princess.”

Carp up to 17 pounds are found in the Middle Lake and Small Lake.

What tactics work well?

Barbless hooks only.

All anglers must be in possession of the proper licencing.

No keepnets when pleasure fishing.

Unhooking mats must be in use. Fish are not to be placed on the ground.

No surface fishing or floating baits.

No spodding or spombing on the stock pond or Small Lake.

What facilities are on site?

There are toilets and showers on site at Willow Park Fishery, including facilities for disabled anglers.

A café features quality food, including homemade pizza.

There is also a tackle shop on the premises.

There is ample parking at Willow Park Fishery.
