Willow Pool is the larger of the two pools at Milton Brook Fishery, surrounded by well-established trees and featuring two islands. The lake is relatively shallow but compensated by the abundance of overhanging trees, lily pads, and reeds at the water’s edge, providing a habitat for hard-fighting carp.
What size do the fish go to?
Willow Pool holds Carp up to 10lb+, Bream (Skimmers), Roach, Rudd, Perch, Tench, Crucian Carp, and Eels.
What tactics work well?
Anglers fishing at Willow Pool can make use of the 20+ paving slab platforms located around the lake, with each platform having direct access to at least one of the islands. Various fishing tactics can be effective, such as float fishing or pole fishing near the overhanging trees and vegetation.
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available near Willow Pool. Please note that this lake is on a working farm, so anglers are reminded to close any gates they may have to open.
