Fishery Information
Wold Farm Fisheries is located on the border of Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire and is set in 70 acres of mature woodland that has been there for hundreds of years. There is something here for everyone including specimen lakes, pleasure fishing and matches that run all year on day tickets.
In total there are 4 lakes. There is also a river section that is part of a syndicate.
Night fishing and weekend fishing is available on Wold lake.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp to over 30lb
Catfish to over 40lb
Barbel to 18lb on the River Ouse stretch.
There are also Tench, Golden Tench, Crucians, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Barbel, Chub, Ghost Carp, Mirror Carp, Koi Carp, Goldfish, Golden Orfe, Catfish
What tactics work well?
Maggots, pellet and caster work well on most lakes, especially the silver fish lake.
Boilies and larger baits such as luncheon meat work well for carp and catfish.
What facilities are on site?
There are toilets on site.
They also have fishery pellets available for you to buy.
Is parking available?
Yes, there is ample car parking.
