Fishery Information
Situated in the picturesque surroundings of Ashford, Kent, Woodchurch Trout Fisheries comprises of 2 lakes, all boasting a healthy selection of fish.
The rain-fed lakes are restocked with Rainbow and Brown Trout every few weeks. The waters are open to both members and day ticket holders. All day catch and release starts at £10. A day ticket (take 4 fish home) costs £24.
All Brown trout are to be returned to the water once caught.
What size do the fish go to?
The average weight of Rainbow and Brown Trout tends to be between 2-5lbs. The fishery records stand at 11lbs for Rainbow and 9lbs for Brown.
What tactics work well?
Worms, maggots, crickets and grasshoppers work well from a suspended float. Artificial baits can also be effective.
