Woodend Farm fishery located in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire comprises 5 lakes, set in serene, natural countryside. Tench, roach, bream, rudd, and all of the carp varieties are all present in the ponds. The location provides excellent fishing for experienced anglers and plenty of rod-bending action for recreational anglers who just want to relax on the bank for a while.
What size do the fish go to?
Fish weighing 10 to 15 pounds and match bags weighing up to 40 pounds can be caught in the 30-peg Donut Pond, stocked with all of the aforementioned species.
The Kidney Pond is a small, kidney-shaped pond that is home to several excellent silver fish and carp weighing over 17 pounds.
The Bottom Pond is a hidden pond encircled by trees with many 2lb and 3lb roach and bream being caught frequently. The carp can go to 25 pounds or more.
The Match Pond is home to all species of carp. The Stock Pond and the upcoming Specimen Pond are located right next to this pond.
